This iconic piece, known as a Pluslite, was designed and manufactured by Hadrill and Horstmann, a lighting firm known for its innovative designs throughout the 20th century. Though not included with this piece, the Pluslite was known for its adjustable magnifying glass that would extend off the shade and allow the user to have brightly lit, magnified images.
