Arisaema thunbergii Tibet When planted in a moistArisaema thunbergii ssp. thunbergii is an easy to grow Japanese cobra lily that features a 2' green stalk that supports a horseshoe shaped, 9 17 leaflet leaf off to the side. Topping the petiole (stalk) is a greenish purple pitcher with a top that arches over the pitcher. The spadix (club) of Arisaema thunbergii ssp. thunbergii emerges from inside the pitcher as an 18" long rubberized, twisted thread that dangles in front of the pitcher very bizarre.
