Vintage 1960s Gold Floral Painting Panel on Black Lacquer Veneer circa 1969 vegetable In beautiful condition - no{HISTORY} Painted in 1969 and signed by the artist, this is a very interesting floral still considering its medium. Painted on a piece of shiny smooth black lacquer veneer that was attached to chipboard, the flowers, we suspect, are painted using both gold foil and gold paint. There is not a lot of definition in the painting technique itself ( ie visible brush strokes, or any definition in the gold leaf) as it is very smooth in execution but you can
